Sperrt man ein feines Tier in eine Box, dann beginnt es schnell darin zu rumpeln. Das Tier will ausbrechen, zurück in seine Freiheit. Gelingt ihm die Flucht, dann entlädt sich die angestaute Energie und es beginnt wie wild herumzutanzen. Genau diese Energie entfacht Kalabrese für all diejenigen die – eingesperrt in ihren Alltag – sehnsüchtig darauf warten sich am Freitag in Wochenend-Tiere zu verwandeln. Kalabrese ist das Projekt des Schweizer Musiker und Produzenten Sacha Winkler, der mit seinem Song ‚Chicken Fried Rice‘ bereits 2004 einen Hit auf dem Label Perlon landete. Markantes Markenzeichen seiner Produktionen ist der Einsatz seiner Stimme, die gerne auch mal durchmischt mit schwiizerdütschen Sprachsamples häufig zum Einsatz kommt. Musikalisch rumpeln Kalabreses Tracks ebenfalls ordentlich, wodurch sich ein charakteristischer Funk in die Stücke einschleift, der immer wieder für Überraschungsmomente sorgt. „Rumpeln“ scheint generell die treibende Kraft hinter Kalabreses musikalischem Schaffen zu sein. Sein 2013 gegründetes Label heißt ‚Rumpelmusig‘, sein erstes Album ‚Rumpelzirkus‘ und live ist er mit seinem ‚Rumpelorchester‘ zu hören. Mal schauen wie schnell es ihm gelingt das Gewölbe in eine echte Rumpelkammer zu verwandeln. Schützenhilfe bekommt er für dieses Unerfangen von Feines Tier Residents Franca und Philipp Fein.

Patrick Alavi isn’t a prince of Cologne carnival. Some people call him bass line king but his music has nothing to do with the royals. Alavi’s now back on track after really doing his thing in the studio creating hundreds of unreleased tunes in the last decade without releasing it.
The first EP track called Clown isn’t funny at all but a real grooving arpeggio beast that is slowly evolving. Stoner’s paradise!
The second tune is called Profashion. It’s dedicated to all the fashion junkies and people out there who are selfish enough giving not a damn about fur and animal harming in one of the dirtiest industry’s of our planet.
The third track is a direct answer to a very special man out there.
