Mexican enfant extraordinaire Iñigo Vontier is rolling in with his debut EP for Feines Tier and it’s a match made in heaven. Just judging on the name alone, as he seems to be from some kind of royal Tier family descent. But enough with the mind-numbingly bad puns and on to some brain-meltingly good music.
Rolling. Everything’s rolling. Zongato is rolling. We don’t know who or what a Zongato is (a Google search just led to a Twitch streamer with that name and 0 followers), but they are definitely rolling. It’s got this special combination of straight and uncompromising beat and bass paired with psychedelic synth sirens floating around your head that somehow only the Mexicans really know how to nail.
Astrolo is rolling. Like a well-oiled machine. Well, maybe like a not so well-oiled machine, one that’s shrieking and creaking, but has been running since forever and reliably will do so until we’re all gone from this Earth.
If you ask Google Translate, Mucha Onda means „very cool“ in English, „molto bello“ in Italian or „valde frigidus“ in Latin and there is nothing more to add to that.
The psychedelics are back (were they ever gone?) and kick in in full swing on Hedonist Lizard. A dangerous cocktail of high-proof alcoholic drum and bass patterns paired with some sugary spicy herbals of unknown origin, better not down it in one go. You were warned.
On The Sounds Are Good, the sounds are good indeed! And rolling.

Atlantik – Limited 2xLP
The long-anticipated debut LP from Atlantik has finally arrived on Feines Tier. Hailing from Cologne, childhood friends Georg and Clemens have spent over a decade refining their passion for hardware-driven live techno.
Whether as a regular touring act, resident duo at Berlin’s legendary Sisyphos, or an opening act on Fusion’s Turmbühne, Atlantik has captivated audiences with their high-energy approach to techno.
While their sound continues to evolve, its roots remain in Cologne’s minimal techno golden era. Atlantik blends glitchy percussion, delicate melodies, and hypnotic atmospheres—always maintaining the precision and restraint of minimalism. Enjoy the journey!

Feines Tier Zoo Vol.4
In good old label tradition, Feines Tier presents the new Zoo Compilation Volume 4. You can keep the first half of tracks 1-11 in mind as The Deep Tracks and from 12-21 as The Action Tracks. These were our internal working titles anyway. In the end, it’s a big compilation with 21 artists that we don’t want to pigeonhole, because it’s a big zoo! Thank you to Marcel Kreuzer aka Zoologne for the lovely cover art.

Franz Matthews, Johannes Klingebiel – Ce Moment EP
Feines Tier veteran Johannes Klingebiel introduces Franz Matthews to the family and together they bring us “Ce Moment” EP, a basket of tunes full of colorful harmonies, bouncy grooves and poetic French lyrics. What more could one wish for? The two producers and multi-instrumentalists met some years ago in their chosen hometown Berlin and decided to fuse their producing and multi-instrumentalism game.
The first fruit of this labor was the much-loved and -played “Signs” on Heimlich records, now being followed by this EP here. The title tune is an amalgamation of groovy electric bass riLs, spicy Prophet synth sounds, melancholic vocals and certainly has something of that magic ingredient people call the French Touch. A good tune to pick for House DJs who dig some Disco now and then and for Disco DJs in need of some solid House. “La Traversée” is a crossing (multi-language pun intended) of bazillions of quirky synth sounds and melodies that somehow form a coherent whole, the sum of its part being a light and friendly but not cheesy house tune, that will make the sun go up on any dancefloor.
The mighty Kompakt overlord Michael Mayer takes “Ce Moment” under his spell. The result is a grander and more mysterious aLair, made for bigger and darkerdancefloors. The Sound of Cologne™ this is indeed!
Parisian up-and-comer Shimon adapts „La Traversée” into his sonic world. When Matthews and Shimon discussed the finished remix on the phone in French, all that le dilletant Johannes could understand from it were the words “très cool” and “after-hour vibe” , which… yes, completely tracks!

Motip White – Opossum EP
Opossum EP is the new work of Cologne based artist Motip White who meets Cologne based label „Feines Tier“.
3 tracks for an abandoned dirty open air zoo that turns into a rave for those who stayed hungry for the eclectic.

„Let The Light In“ goes out first, hooting the sirens of outdoor-grooves with shakers and wild percussion. Calling the sun already for the upcoming months, you can hear the handwriting of Barcelona based producer „Gespona“ who teamed up again with Moe and is known for his deep rythmic grooves of „Rummel Audio“.
„El Puma“ is roughly gnarling onto the dancefloor. Its shouting right into the listeners face, who later finds the wild elements embedded in a surrounding of psychedelic melodies.
„Opossum“ is rattling like an old 2-stroke-machine into the dancefloor until the listener gets weak in the knees.
The tracks arrive unassuming and develop into uncontrolled organic machines from another retro-future.
All made with love and all made for the dancefloor.
